The main body of the skirting is a vulcanized composite of rubber and polyurethane. The critical inner sealing edge that contacts the conveyor belt is made entirely of highly durable and abrasion-resistant polyurethane.The unique Y-profile is designed with two independent sealing lips (a primary and an auxiliary lip). As these lips make contact with the belt, they form a negative pressure zone between them, which actively pulls the sealing edges onto the belt surface. This ingenious mechanism creates a highly effective dual-stage seal, virtually eliminating material spillage.
